Got a talent you want to showcase?! Dreamworked is giving you the chance! We are looking for the most entertaining group or individual of NJC. Three Minutes of Fame gives you absolute freedom to do whatever you want! From singing, dancing to beat-boxing or even showing off your fantastic yoyo skills, as long as it’s entertaining, we want you! Come down for auditions on 23rd and 24th of July where our judges and panelists will pick the top six groups to vie for the top three titles at the NDC concert! first day my group(livingston) was kinda stone..

cux we diden realli noe each other..

we learnt basics like tent pitching, cooking and packed our bagpacks..

dinner..was basically weird tasting..

cux the rice was burnt..n tasted of solid fuel..HAHA

during sleeping..xinyi n mel saw a WILDBOAR...

then wen they saw the wild boar..they RAN STRAIGHT into their tents..HAHA

wore lifejackets, went into the sea in a circle to check if they were working...

and had to be sent to MEDICAL CENTRE cux got pus from bites...

but it ain't so bad lar..

HELLO YOU! Haha. Okay this blog's getting dead-er so everyone bow down and thank the cute lil' joshiie boy for reviving it[ego alert!] haha. Anyways class outing was fun fun fun! And anyways, since it's already been half a year, I would like to express some of my hearfelt thoughts(:

Here's to everyone, especially hsiu yen and sherryn jie! Sorry for all the conflicts i caused in term one, i really regret. And for making o5 seem so un-bonded. Anyhow, i hope i didn't give much problems in term 2 except for the tshirt one. But thankfully, we're more bonded now, and we're starting to be what we used to be - 07ip05, the most enthu class!

As part of outreach of Sigma Labs, South Zone Science and Technology Centre, NJC Sigma Lab is inviting students to participating in the Sigma Research Attachment Programme.

This is a 2-week full time attachment at Sigma Labs (in NJC) from 4 Jun (Mon) to 15 Jun (Fri) 2007 and is meant for high-ability science students who are interested in life science research.
Students will be working on a simple research topic in groups of 3 under the mentorship of 2 research scientists from A*STAR.

The research scientists are attached to Sigma Labs as part of A*STAR's Scientist-in-School Programme. Such experience will give students an edge when they apply for longer research programme when they are in Junior College.

We are given 9 spaces for IP1 students who are interested. Students must be free and must be excused from any other school activity for the period of attachment.

BOO! haha. Drama king here(: Here are a few ideas for class outing games.

1. Volleyball!

So as you can see, if you want to play these things, we need some stuff. If you have a frisbee/volleyball/rubber ball(those with cartoon desgins)/scoccer ball, PLEASE INFORM ME ASAP and bring it. I'm out of ideas so if you have any, especially the games comm, let me know asap too!

Also, me and max will be going to collect class tee on that day, so we'll only bring for the 14 of us who are going, and ms tay and ms yang if they are. Imagine if we bring all, then the photogenic buddies will become so unglam-looking people hunching down harbourfront and vivo! hee dun thk it's of much effect,
(but it's wad i told sher in a convo and i hope tt it'll help in a bit :)

to the CT reps and josh and other ics for anything:
hi:)
dun give urself so much pressure,
and dun put all the blame on urself for not doing much for the class,
for not maing 05 as bonded as it should be,
for not making ppl as cooperative as they should be.
actualy, to be frank, 05 has come a long way
think of it this way:
after all, we've only spent 5 months together
but at least we've still managed to create some bonds in the class
yea, it's true tt the bond is not obvious,
but we're definitely improving
from a class of 26 strangers,
we became one loving class
ok
maybe not tt loving
but we're learning to accept one another,
and the conflicts are starting to dissolve too..

we might be self centered for now becos it's only 5 months,
everyone's still trying their best to suit in ba and get used to jc life,
but rem tt as we try to suit in,
do try to know more abt the class,
commit more to the class,
becos sch life is not only abt studies.
all work but no play will make 05-ians into dull and boring ppl..:D
maybe we can first start by listening more to the CTs or whoever's standing up there trying to make an announcement?
they're trying their best to make things work and come up wif interesting ideas,
so at least give them some support for their hard work ba :)

cos no one can save an unbonded class except ourself, when all the 26 of us commit as 1.
i love my sec 2 class, but if i were to compare 05 wif my sec 1 class,
